Grading Policy: Grades will be figured on a percentage basis with exams, Sketchpad activities, and the semester project counted equally. There will be three exams. Assignments are due each Monday, for the preceding week. The semester project is due on Monday of exam week.
90 – 100% = A
80 – 89% = B
70 - 79% = C
60 - 69% = D
0 - 59% = F
Semester Project: Each student must turn in a geometry teaching unit, suitable for middle school students. This project will be graded according to the rubric posted on the WebCT homepage for this course.
Exams: If you are unable to take an exam due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g. illness, death in the family, accidents), you must contact me prior to the exam time and furnish written verification of the excuse in order to take a make-up test.
Important Dates: Last day to register – Friday, January 14
Last day to drop an individual course – Friday, March 18
Last day to withdraw from the university – Friday, April 29
