Topology of Surfaces by Kinsey.
- Short Description: First course in topology.
Basics of point-set topology: topological spaces, continuity, connectedness,
compactness, products, quotients. Surfaces and simplicial complexes, Euler
characteristics. Introductory algebraic topology: simplicial homology, the
fundamental group. Knots, if time permits.
