Some things that I hate to see in life:

I hate seeing girls being hit or threatened. Why is there such a thing called domestic violence? People in love take care of disputes by talking them out, not physically. Yet, for some reason the girls think the guys love them, but that is not love. Just because a guy says, "I love you", that does not mean a thing. I have never said those three words unless I meant it. They are three potent words that people abuse. I see those words used as many times as I have said, "Would you want fries with that?" while working at McDonalds.

A few years ago, I did a ride along with the Indianapolis, Indiana PD. I was impressed with the officer's coolness and professionalism. Yet, I was disappointed with the amount of domestic disputes that I saw. I even saw one guy hit his wife while she was talking to the police. After that night, I swore that I would never have a relationship like that. Yet, girls think the guy loves them because they are "watching" out for them.
(what is love?). Then on one call the parents of a 16 year-old girl called the police. She ran away from home so she could attend a concert. They wanted us to arrest her because she left home. What she did is a parents problem, not a police issue. People are blaming things on everyone else, instead of taken a stand and fixing their own problems.

I always hear girls say, "If I could change him, he will be a great father/husband". What do you mean, "If you could change him?" It isn't going to happen. Dating people is like test driving a car, you see what it is like before you buy it. Get married is something that is for the rest of your life however we won't buy a car, expecting to keep it for four years, if we do not like the way it handles. Are we also going to buy a new car with the intention of changing the engine or the color of paint soon after? No, but people get married with that method of thinking. We do more thinking and are more particular about our cars then our lives.

Get your hands off the cell phone and on the wheel. I know one person that drives with his left hand holding the cell phone. His right hand is shifting gears while his right foot is operating the gas and brake. So what does he use to steer the car - his left leg.

One day I was driving my dad's Harley and something told me to slow down even through I had a green light. The girl, who had a red light, looked at me and without stopping made a right turn on red right in front of me. I had three headlights on and it was as if she did not even see me. However, I close enough to see the cell phone stuck to her left ear.
