New Front Rims and Tires

One of the rims I bought last year had a chunk missing out of it and always had a real slow leak. I guess I parked just the right way finally and turned it into a huge leaked and I ended up cutting my tire. Since I was going to have to replace the tire anyway I figured I might as well replace 2 of the 6 inch crabs with 6.5 inch crab wheels. I had found a 87 daytona Shelby in a junkyard when I was originally looking for rims that had the 6.5 inchers but one was damaged. I was lucky and they still had the car and I bought two of the rims for $40.

Straight out of the junkyard and I didn't even bother to clean the brake dust of the ones on the rear. Man I am lazy.

I ended up going with 225/60/15 BFGoodwrench Traction T/As for the new front rims. They seemed like a good compromise between performance and all weather driving. They certainly hook better then the old 195/60/15s Touring T/As that are now on the back. They still can't hold up to a full 14psi launch though.
