This is William Weeks' second known drawing of the Nauvoo Temple's facade. He switched from a triangular pediement to a retangular atttic story. He replaced the square tower with a much more pleasing octagonal tower. In the Temple, as finally built, he also replaced the half-circular windows with rectangualr windows in the fore attic.
