My name is Lisa Blake and I
live in Chesapeake, OH with my husband Shane and our 4 year old daughter
Mika Jo. I live on a 16 acre farm where I have 9 dogs, 6 horses
and 2 cats. I am currently a senior at Marshall majoring in elementary
education. I received my Associates Degree December 2004 and will
graduate with my bachelors spring 2009. YEAH! When I am not at
Marshall, Shane, Mika Jo and I spend all of our time with our horses.
Every weekend we barrel race our horses at a horse show somewhere. We
ride in local shows, rodeo circuits, and AQHA and NBHA registered
shows where we can earn points or win money.
My unit plan is on Citizenship and
the importance of good citizenship. This unit looks at what makes
a good citizen and teaches students behaviors they need to practice in
order to be a good citizen. It also allows students to think
about and determine whether or not they are a good citizen. They
will learn to be honest, respectful, caring, courageous and
patriotic in this unit. They will also learn different ways they can
help in their community. |
